In January 2011, Emmett Beliveau, Colby grad '99 and Maine native, was asked to be Barack Obama's Chief of Staff, William Daley's, Chief of Staff. Beliveau has had experience in the White House before acting as the director of advance for Barack Obama overseeing grassroot events and his presidential trips.
