Mum Mum: Pad Thai Too's Sandwich Shop
If you aren't in the know about all things Pad Thai Too, the opening of Mum Mum might have escaped your attention. Mum Mum is Pad Thai Too owner's new lunch place and is focused around sandwiches rather than full curries and noodle dishes. Mum Mum means "eat eat" in thai, a fitting name for a sandwich shop that draws inspiration from Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and Korean cooking.
Mum Mum has a wide selection of sandwiches all served with fries. Mum mum has weekly specials so the menu is constantly changing, however there is a menu of staples that are all equally delicious including the Miss Saigon sandwich and the Green Goddess, a vegetarian option including veggies and a spicy curry sauce. I tried the Saigon as well as the chicken dumplings, and both were great. I wouldn't recommend getting the fries as they don't really add anything to the meal, but the sandwiches alone are enough to fill you up. I would definitely recommend giving Mum Mum a try, it's great for that midday you up when you want something a little more special than the sandwich line at Dana....
Mum Mum is open from 11-6 Monday through Friday and 12-6 on Saturdays, you can eat in or call for delivery. Check out their website for the menu.
