Meet Steve Weinberg. The Editor of the Echo in 2006, Weinberg makes a triumphant return to the Hill with his new book "To Timbuktu," an illustrated novel that details the time he spent after graduating, teaching in Beijing before moving to West Africa to paint alongside his girlfriend Casey, who was working on her Fulbright project. The book is about their adventures and the people they met along the way, an inspiring work for those of us thinking about our next step outside of the Colby Bubble.

Weinberg will be up this weekend as a part of the Career Center Connections Weekend. Weinberg will be giving a lecture and doing a book signing Thursday April 7th in the Colby Bookstore. And, will also be a part of the panel of graduated Art majors happening in the Colby Museum on Friday, April 8th at 3 as another part of the Connections Weekend.
