Colby Taiko and Colby Loves Japan have organized a benefit concert for Japan aid this Friday from 7:00pm-8:00pm in the Strider Theater.  Performers include Colby Taiko, Hall-Dale High School Taiko, Colby African Drumming, and a group of dancers led by Sujie Zhu ’14. Taiko Maine Dojo, a professional taiko troupe based in Portland, Maine, will also be performing several pieces. This event is free to attend open to both the Colby and Waterville communities. Colby Loves Japan will be selling their ever-popular wristbands and taking donations throughout the night. Proceeds benefit the Japanese Red Cross Society.
