This evening there is a panel at 7 pm. in Diamond 142 on Confronting Hate and Violence.  In light of recent activities and conversations on campus, this panel has the potential to be very beneficial to our community.

The three panelists include Charles McDew (who helped found the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee in 1960), Jerry Mitchell (journalist for The Clarion-Ledger in Mississippi and previous Elijah Parish Lovejoy Award), and Steve Wessler (the executive director of the Center for Prevention of Hate Violence).

It'll be interesting to see the responses to this panel conversation on the Digest tomorrow...
