1. Eat a Messy Pig sandwich from Pete's Southern Barbecue.

Pete's Southern Barbecue Stand is located on Kennedy Memorial Drive (parked in front of the Pinecone) and closes the last day of September. Stop in and try one of their pulled pork sandwiches and some of their jalapeno cornbread before they close for the season.

2. Visit the Colby Museum.

The Colby Museum closes to vistors on Oct. 2nd for construction on the new expansion, so make sure you visit your favorite pieces. Some of the galleries won't re-open till 2013.

3. Go to the We Avalanche Coffeehouse Show.
