SPB is sponsoring kegs, pretzels, pumpkins and free steins on Dana Lawn Saturday from 11-2pm. We're in.
Senior Class / Alumni Mixer
On Friday the 22nd at 9:30pm there will be complimentary beverages and appetizers in the pub-- courtesy of Senior Pledge and the Alumni Association.
Pecha Kucha Night
Friday at 6:30pm at the Hathaway Creative Center is the annual Pecha Kucha night. There will be a series of presentations by creative people including Colby's own Heidi Blair '12. It's free with a student ID, and there will be refreshments provided by Barrels (and a cash bar provided by Silver Street Tavern).
Unwrap Your Candy
Powder and Wig is putting on a "a delectable evening of four bedtime tales for adults guaranteed to keep you awake for nights on end." It sounds like the perfect pre-Halloween theater. Showings are Friday at 10:30 and Saturday at 7:30. Tickets are $2 and are available at the door of Runnals before the show.
Camille A. Brown Dance Company Performance
Camille is an award-winning and internationally-acclaimed choreographer whose company will be performing in Runnals on Friday night at 7:30. While she's here, Camille is also teaching a Master Class on Thursday night, but sign up slots are limited.
3rd Annual Freaky 5k
On Saturday morning (bright and early) at 10 o'clock Hardy Girls Healthy Women will be hosting their annual 5k. Pre-register to make sure you get a free race tee shirt. There's also a costume contest beforehand at 9:30 on Colby's basketball court for all of you realllllly ambitious Halloween enthusiasts.
And, not that it's actually AT Colby, but the Joint Chiefs are playing in Boston this Saturday at the Church of Boston. It starts at 11:30 pm, and tickets are $10 at the door. (Oh, and the event is 18+)
