During the most recent meeting of the Board of Trustees, the Trustee Task Force on Student Accountability sought an endorsement of their draft of the Colby Affirmation.

SGA debates dorm vandalism
During the Student Government Association’s (SGA) meeting on April 21, Grossman Dorm President Kylie VanBuren ’15 moved to “recommend to the College Affairs Committee [CAC] and Academic Affairs Committee [AAC] that the process for adjudicating academic infractions be incorporated into a fully representative conduct board to include a student voice,” according to the meeting agenda.
College celebrates Pride Week
The Bridge is hosting its annual Pride Week April 13 to 20. The slogan of the week is “200 years queer.”
First GSD director resigns
The College’s first Gender and Sexual Diversity (GSD) Program Director Andrea Breau ’03 resigned, according to an Official Notice sent March 21.
Past Oak Fellow arrested in Zimbabwe
The College’s 2010 Oak Fellow, National Director of the Zimbabwe Peace Project (ZPP) Jestina Mukoko, was recently arrested in Harare, Zimbabwe for “allegedly operating an ‘unregistered’ operation” according to a Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights information alert.
